2008 Steep Hill Beach Corporate and Private Events
Steep Hill Beach can accommodate up to 400 guests on our beautiful lawn areas.  Groups may not exceed 200 guests per lawn.  Steep Hill Beach season May 1, 2008 through October 14, 2008.  We may book an October date weather permitting through October 14, 2008.  Dates are RAIN OR SHINE.  No rain dates will be given unless purchased in advance as your back up date.  All deposits are non refundable and non transferrable to another date.  Steep Hill Beach is a day use area only.

Tent, Table and Chair rentals may be coordinated directly by you through our exclusive Steep Hill Beach rental companies, Steep Hill Beach exclusive caterer or Private Event Manager.

Menu Planning Please contact a Steep Hill Beach exclusive caterer for your menu planning.  No outside vendors  will be permitted to cater at Steep Hill Beach.  This includes any in-house company food services.

Your lawn rental includes:

• Spectacular ocean views
• Lawn area for your guests to dine or play.  Each lawn accommodates up to 200 guests. 
• 6 hour guest rental time 11am-5pm.  1 hour overtime 5pm - 6 pm is an additional $250 fee. 
• Direct Steep Hill Beach access 175 yards from the lawn area
• Ample parking
• Access to hiking trails
• Handicap accessible restroom facilities.  Environmental friendly compost toilets.  Hand sanitizer & mirror in restrooms.  No running water is available at Steep Hill Beach.
• Changing booths
• Crane Estate Ranger to maintain TTOR policies and security
• Use of volleyball equipment
• Lifeguard Memorial Day through September 30th.  Special request for Oct. 1st - 14th

PLEASE NOTE there is no electricity at Steep Hill Beach.  This is a day use only during time frames indicated above.  No Bands, DJ's or amplified music is permitted.

Kayaking Adventures

Tour the Great House
House tours are an optional idea for your group to enjoy available Wednesday - Saturday 10 AM - 1 PM.  The 59-room Stuart-Style mansion was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1998.  Designed by famed architect David Adler, the home exemplifies the American Country Place Era (c. 1880-1940), a prosperous time for many early industrialists.  Built as a seaside cottage for the Crane family in 1924, the Great House will leave a lasting impression on any visitor. WEDDING BLISS package
An optional package for the bride and groom.  Let our team do the coordinating for you.  You choose from one of our exclusive caterers (food is an additional fee) and we will coordinate the rentals (included in the fee).  Our staff will oversee the set up and clean up, coordinate the processional and make sure the day of your dreams is perfect.

Exchange your vows on Steep Hill Beach with the sand and sea as your backdrop.  This unique hideaway beach is available exclusively to you for your wedding. Dine on our beautiful lawn area with your family and friends as the day unfolds especially planned for the two of you. We hope your visit to this beautiful property owned and maintained by The Trustees of Reservations for the public's use and enjoyment will be a memorable visit.

The Crane Estate will provide you with an on site Manager to ensure your wedding day is flawless.  Relax, enjoy and get ready for a day to remember!

2008 Wedding Bliss Package Rates

Ma. state tax will be added to your final billing on tents, tables and chairs only.  Weddings over 200 guest will require a special quote from the Private Event Department in order to accommodate the appropriate size tenting, tables, and chairs.  The package rate does not include any food services, entertainment or additional rentals.  A caterer must be chosen from the exclusive caterer list.

Wedding Bliss all inclusive package rate includes the following:

• Spectacular ocean views
• The exclusive use of the Steep Hill Beach lawn area.  Only one event per day.
• 6 hour rental time 11am-5pm.  1 hour overtime 5 pm - 6 pm is an additional $250 fee.
• On site Manager for the set up and duration of your event to oversee the logistics of your special celebration.
• One cathedral tent awning for your event.  TENT SIDES AND OTHER ACCESSORIES are NOT included in package rate. The tent size is determined by your size event. The tent can be utilized in case of inclement weather for your reception or simply shade from the hot summer sun.  Additional tenting and/or accessories may be required at User's discretion and expense depending on size of event and details required for the event.
• Tables and chairs provided for your guests based on 60" rounds and 10 guests per table. Our Private Event Department will coordinate this for you.
• *Upon request, set up of ceremony chairs will be provided by on site Manager.  A fee will be charged for the rental of ceremony chairs.
• Bride & Groom access to the lawn and beach area 1 hour prior to the guests arrival for photographs.
• Direct Steep Hill Beach access 175 yards from the lawn area.
• Ample free parking  for your guests

Special Notes
*No chairs are allowed on the beach.  Wedding ceremonies may take place on the beach as standing ceremonies only. 
No alcohol is allowed on the beach including champagne toasts.  All alcoholic beverages will be the responsibility of the User.  Please read our beverage policy.
Additional rentals such as tent sidewalls, heating and accessories must be approved and coordinated through and exclusive Steep Hill Beach tent company for an additional fee to the client.  Other rentals such as linens, china, flatware, and glassware must be rented through an exclusive Steep Hill Beach Caterer.
Rain dates are not given for weddings.
Bands, DJs, and other forms of amplified music are not allowed.  Non-amplified music is permitted.
